What to Wear

Choose short clothing that exposes your upper body and part of your legs, so your skin can create good grip with the pole. Short leggings or athletic shorts with a sports top work perfectly. It is best to avoid body lotion on the day of your class, since it makes the pole slippery.

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle, a small towel, and a hair tie. Most studios provide clean, sanitised poles, so there is no need for any special personal equipment for your first class.

What to Expect

The first class usually includes a warm up, basic strength exercises, and an introduction to your first grips on the pole. There is no expectation to perform complex moves, and every move is taught at your own pace with close guidance.
